This module is part of a complete training cycle covering all aspects of Building Information Modeling, from the basics to tools for the BIM Manager, including training for the BIM Coordinator.
BIM represents a major evolution in the way a construction project is approached. This basic module provides a comprehensive overview of Building Information Modeling, what it can achieve, and the challenges of collaboration. It is part of a complete training cycle covering all aspects of BIM, from the basics to tools for the BIM Manager, including training for the BIM Coordinator.
Objectives
At the end of the training, the participant will be able to :
- understand the Building Information Modeling (BIM) method and its benefits
- understand BIM principles and definitions
- understand the different ways in which BIM can be applied to a construction project
- understand the particularities of data exchange and interoperability
- understanding use cases
- know the BIM players in Luxembourg and understand their implementation strategy in Luxembourg

Examination and certificate
