7. CONTROL AND DISTRIBUTION OF THE IFC
A. Controlling the IFC
Just like before the IFC export, it is very useful to check the result generated in IFC. It is easy to make mistakes in the native model or in the configuration that can affect the final result.

B. Distributing the IFC
The distribution of the IFC(s) as well as the 2D documents can be done by email or by deposit on a platform.
INFO :
Some platforms offer plugins to generate and drop mock-ups and layouts without generating files in the software. This procedure saves a lot of time but the control of the generated IFC can only be done after export. It is therefore recommended to do a local export of the IFC to check its quality.
